USBDMX: the USB interface for DMX512. The USBDMX features one input and one output. Both are optically isolated against one another and the USB line. The USBDMX is powered by the USB line: if the controlling computer is connected to an uninterrupt-able power supply, the DMX512 link from the USBDMX is also protected against mains failure.

The USBDMX can transmit and receive DMX512 frames with any start-code. The data to be transmitted and the received one are buffered in on-board memory. As a result, the DMX512 line can run with maximum speed bringing You the maximum performance.
